It helps condition hard water to help reduce the effects of hardness and scale formation while filter mud, sand, rust and suspended sediments.. Depending on the model, additional CTO and GAC filtration stages provide further treatment for chlorine, unpleasant taste, heavy metal, odor, and organic matter. The system is suitable for use with common municipal and borewell water supplies.
